Sugar gumpaste roses class at Inspired by Michelle Cake Designs
How to make big beautiful sugar roses class 13th and 14th October 2011 – this class has filled
Another class now listed for the 25th and 26th October 2011
A wonderful two day class where you will learn how to make sugar roses in various colour shades with matching buds and leaves.
No previous experience needed to attend this class
I love using a big single rose to decorate a top tier sometimes it is all that is needed to make an elegant statement and not only for wedding cakes. Being practical it is also a lot easier to make one big rose than a dozen roses to fill a top tier and when they are made well they really do look spectacular!!
In this class you will learn a simple technique to assemble large roses, veining, shading roses and leaves, wiring rose leaves and a simple rose bouquet.
This class is all about roses, you will complete five large roses with matching buds and leaves. Doing this many roses means by the end of the two days the technique will be firmly imprinted in your mind!!
It is a two day class starting sharply at 9.30am and finishing at 3.30pm each day. Everything is provided including class notes and light snacks.
The class will be held at Inspired by Michelle Cake Designs, 60 Old Northern Road, Baulkham Hills NSW 2153 Australia with plenty of off street parking.
The price is $460.00 gst included and numbers are strictly limited. Positions are held with a non refundable 50% deposit and the balance is payable before the class date.

I follow your blog with adoration! However with the cost of flights I’ll never be able to make this class in my lifetime, any chance of a tutorial like you have done with the fantasy flowers?? I love them xxx
I agree with Lyndsey…I am sure you have a large community from the United States…I am one of them. It would be lovely to see your technique indeed…ALL of this is your fault starting with the chocolate…now this LOL. Abundance of blessings to you xoxoxo
