I love the simplicity of this red and white 40th birthday present cake I made last week. Although sometimes simple does not mean quick!! It is a double height cake so it is 8″x8″x8″ in dimension. Both tiers were white chocolate mud layered with white chocolate ganache.
I got a lovely thank you from the husband that organised this for his wife which always puts a smile on my face!

The cake was a show stopper, I do not think anyone had expected such a beautiful cake for the party. I was somewhat amazed at the detail, it not only was a fantastic looking cake but tasted e

Hi Lena, with cake I hand wrote the inscription with white royal icing.
